When I am out of school...

Melody, my wife's brother's wife, wants to go riding in my fine automobiles with me when I finally graduate. She requested a Bugatti and a Bugatti I will give her. I present the finest Bugatti ever made, indeed finer than the Bugatti Veyron of today. I give you the Bugatti EB110.
The EB110 evokes all the pleasures that were inherent in 80's and 90's supercars. This was the kind of car that boys and grown men alike posted up on the bedroom, office and bathroom walls. This is beauty. This is awesome. It has a quadruple turbocharged V-12 that is slower than the non turbocharged Lamborghini Diablo SE. That's awesome! Absurd amounts of power and technology under achieving! That is the epitome of the 90's supercar! I love it, and you should too. Enjoy this informational clip from the God of Cars, Jeremy Clarkson.

There was a presentation on Apple today in my Media Management class and I thought, "man, I haven't owned an Apple computer since I left home. I have had a PC desktop and a PC laptop. Why? They are so much cheaper. But I consider myself a Mac guy through and through. Not one of these new age, new fangled trend following Mac lovers, but I blue blooded Apple man since day one. We've been supporters from the beginning.
Above is a quick run down of all our Apple computers throughout my childhood. I know I had one other Apple laptop, but I only have one shown above.

Rules of Life

Rule #1:
Don't sit down in the stall next to me if there are other stalls available. SERIOUSLY, do not do this.

Rule #2
Don't wander around in front of my stall like you dropped a contact or are trying to find a compass bearing. SERIOUSLY, do not do this.

Rule #3
Don't come out of your stall at the exact same time I do if we have been doing business near each other. The most I want to know about you is what kind of shoes you're wearing, and even then, I didn't even want to know that much about you. I don't need to see the conductor of the musical orchestra I was just forced to sit through. SERIOUSLY, DO NO DO THIS!

Live, love, learn. There are rules people.

Abulia Oblongata

abulia \uh-BOO-lee-uh; uh-BYOO-\, noun:

Loss or impairment of the ability to act or to make decisions.

I'm done folks. I am burned out. I am so good at wasting time and putting off the important things. I can't wait for the scrub of sand between my toes, the piercing burn of sun on my neck, and the scented itch of sunscreen in my eyes. Indeed summer looms ever so near. But despite the light at the end of the tunnel, I'm frowning at my feet and sitting down on the tunnel floor for a rest. I don't want to continue. I don't want to press on. Angels are waiting to help push me along you say? Well I say let 'em wait, cause I'm not ready to move.

I may be motivated by sadness today because I half found out, half heard what I already knew about my future education; It's not over. No, not by a long shot. I thought I had a year left and then I'd be on my jolly way, making millions and slowly collecting rare and exciting automobiles. But my dream of becoming awesome will have to wait. I will be in school for 2 more years. I thought it would be one. I had planned that it would be one. I had dreamed that it would be one. The continued love of my wife hinged on it being one. But it just wasn't meant to be. If you follow my life like most of the world enjoys doing, you'll know I was recently accepted into the Creative Track of BYU's Advertising program. Its a bit like the 12 apostles, but we have 16 this year. We are kinda the top dogs. Lucky right? Well yes except we have to tack on an extra year of school because of it! I opted for the Copywriting group within the Creative Track, thinking that it would afford me early release since I knew for a fact that the Art Direction group had to do a 15 credit minor. But today the dream was dashed like a spilled bottle of Mrs. Dash seasoning. I winced, knowing Kristen was going to crap a brick; and she did. It's tough. Life sucks, then you die. At least I'm not in medical school! *caugh, caugh-Paul-caugh*

Rough Day

I forgot my Chaptstick today. I never forget my Chapstick. It was horrible.

1 of 16. I made it into the Creative Track of BYU's Communications program! 32 applied and 16 got in with 4 alternates in the wings! Thank you to everyone who helped and encouraged. I might have talent, but without friends and family who helped me, taught me and told me I could do it, I wouldn't be here. It sounds cheesy but it's true. I am very thankful. This will effect the direction my life takes from this moment forward.
