Athletic Shoes: Round 2

CLICK PHOTOS TO ENLARGE. So here is how it will go, two pairs will face off every day for the next few days. The idea isn't that one stays and one goes. No, no; I love my shoes too much to give half away. The idea is that as the shoes go up, you all comment on what you like, what you don't like, and once all 25 pair are up, then we can get a pretty comprehensive idea of what sucks and what stays. If both pairs rock, great, we'll keep 'em both. Feel free to comment positively or negatively on any and all pairs. When all is said and done, hopefully a couple pairs will be off to the bin.

Round 2:

The blue Sketchers on the left should probably have been in the Cross Breed category, but I wasn't really thinking as I snapped these pix on the floor of my bedroom in my underwear. I do wear these for sports stuff though as they fit and perform kinda like a soccer shoe.

I talked my mom in to buying these blue Nikes after my mission. It was buy one get the second for 50% off. I convinced her I needed some nice new shoes to get into shape with. These have turned into slip-on daily lounge shoes though. I never lace them tight enough to do anything but walk slowly.

I do, however, like both of these pairs. FYI, if you use athletic shoes for their intended purpose they are suppose to last you an estimated number of miles. I use to get new shoes every 500-600 miles. The internal support can be worn out even if they look nice.

If you are actually going to be using them for athletics I like the Nikes. Purely for looks I like the others.
